SOLD S418 Mid 20th Century Baltic Neoclassical Sconces with Blue Glass – a Pair

Mid 20th century baltic neoclassical sconces with blue glass, a pair. Two arm sconces made of cast brass. A flat eye shaped plate of blue glass bordered with cast brass is lifted from the backplate by a slender neck, allowing light to pass by the blue glass. Two slender arms extend from the borders. The arms and bobeches are decked with slender teardrop crystals. Larger prisms hang from the top finial and from the center rosette. These are a mid 20th century reproduction of a 19th century Swedish or Baltic design. European, possibly made in spain.

Condition: Very good. Glass and crystals are complete and in good condition. Brass with a very light patina, in very good condition. Rewired and ready for installation in the US, 110-120V hardwired. Takes two candelabra sockets, 40 Watt max.
