S379 EF Caldwell Two Arm Federal Sconces – a Pair

A beautiful pair of neoclassical two arm brass and crystal sconces. A long backplate with an urn form top with signature rams heads for arms. The center is column form, tapering to a rosette. The arms are simple curved brass. Crystal chains swoop from a center rosette held high on a brass arm down to the arms. Each light has a glass bobeche with hanging spear crystals. Signed E.F. Caldwell on backplate. American, C. 1910. These have been adapted for modern switch boxes with brass caps as shown in photos. Completely restored and rewired. Brass is in excellent condition, polished and lacquered. Crystal is in excellent condition, cleaned and restrung where necessary. Complete and ready for installation in the US 120V.
