S267 Early 20th Century Arts and Crafts Sconces with White Glass – a Pair
$1,500.00
A unique pair of early 20th Century sconces with rectangular backplates, scroll arms and hanging steuben calcite glass shades. Solid brass, with a lovely aged patina. The light cups are hand hammered, and unique hand work is evident throughout, as is true of the arts and crafts period. The shades are calcite, probably made by Steuben, and lily shaped with a subtle etched design. The two sconces mirror each other, so that the lights face the center. Perfect for hanging high flanking a mantle or another dramatic architectural element. Completely restored with new wiring and ready to install. Glass is in excellent condition, with some light signs of wear due to the age. Maximum suggested wattage, 60W, and LED bulbs will light the calcite glass beautifully.
Backplate size is 10”H x 5.5” W. Overall Dimensions with Glass: 9″ Width, 6″ Extension, 17″ Height
