S120 19th Century Gas Sconces with Original Glass – a Pair

A Pair of late 19th Century Victorian sconces with curved brass arms, original floral glass, and crystals. These were made in the US. The arms are a smooth brass with a light foliate flourish. The glass is acid etched with a floral design and ruffled edges. Colonial spear crystals hang from the shade holders. These sconces have been completely restored with new backplates that meet modern electrical standards, in a floral design. They have new wiring, and all gas fittings have been adapted for safe electrical use. Each sconce takes a single standard edison bulb, 100 watt max, although I can’t imagine that you’d want bulbs so bright in these. They would look lovely in a dining room or flanking a mantel.
