Pair of Japanese Bronze Garden Lanterns

A pair of Japanese bronze garden lanterns in a bamboo design. The pair of lanterns are designed to hang or stand. The bamboo design is cutout to let light through all around and below the lanterns. The lanterns are lined with a high heat rice paper. These are being sold as is, and could be used with candles, a battery operated light, or wired for permanent installation. The bronze has a dark almost vertigris patina and is aged beautifully. A latched door opens from the front of the lanterns for easy access to the interior. Japan, Early Showa
