Late 19th century three light red brass gasolier with three downfacing lights. Originally designed with downfacing Welsbach mantle burners, now electrified with late 19th Century 2 ¼ clamp shade holders. Original gas cocks have been immobilized for safe electrification. Fixture has copper colored red brass stem, arms and brass sockets and shade holders. Sockets are refurbished antique sockets. Metals have all been polished and lacquered. Fixture has been rewired with refurbished antique sockets, and is complete and ready for installation. One arm has a little play, but is secure. refurbished antique sockets. glass in good condition for its age, some light fleabites. Original gas cocks have been immobilized for safe electrification. Metals have all been polished and lacquered. Rewired, complete and ready for installation. US 110-120V hardwired. Three Edison base bulbs 60 Watt max per bulb. Height is fixed, but the top tube can be cut to shorten. Glass in good condition, from the same era as the fixture. US, C. 1890.
